Exploring STEM and Literacy Through Agriculture
Join Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom on a three day adventure, "Exploring STEM and Literacy Through Agriculture." The Samuel Roberts Noble Research Institute, is in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The Noble Research Institute is one of Oklahoma's most outstanding research and educational facilities. The opportunity to tour this facility and visit with researchers from around the world in one that you do not want to miss! You will leave with new knowledge to add STEM and research along with literacy activities to your classroom that are unique to agriculture in Oklahoma.
This event is best for teachers of grades 6-12 of any subject area, and they will be given first preference. The tour is FREE, but space is limited. Rooms and meals are provided. Apply for the trip today and when your application is accepted you will receive an email to complete and finalize your registration.
IF you are selected to participate in the trip, an AITC State Coordinator will contact you with registration information to complete your registration. The AITC State contact email will mean you have been selected! Teacher who teach grades 6-12 will be given TOP priority, however, others can apply and if space allows, you will be contacted.
