Teachers receive lessons, resources and training to integrate agriculture into core curriculum subjects. Each participant will receive the 55 lesson curriculum supplement Project Food, Land and People, The Wild Blueberry Curriculum, and many more hard copy and online resources. The 6-hour training will include guest speakers, hands-on activities and experiential learning opportunities all tied to Maine Learning Standards.
MAITC is scheduling sites for Fall workshops in 2017 and Spring workshops in 2018 for 12 to 25 teachers each. All participants will receive 6 contact hours or .6 CEU's from the University of Maine. If you are interested in scheduling a workshop in your area, please contact:
