Major projects accomplished this year
- Distributed six issues of the Colorado Reader on the following topics: Gold Mining, Farm Safety, Ranching, Polluted Runoff, General Agriculture, Caring for Animals. Over 250,000 copies of these readers were distributed.
- Distributed over 200 "A River's Journey - Water in the West" CD sets, 4,000 Understanding Water Activity Books, 500 Wool and Sheep Activity Books and 500 Wildlife Activity Books.
- Presented information about agriculture to 500 science teachers at the Colorado Science Convention. Fifty teachers attended the Food Fiber and More AgriCULTURE Summer Institute.
Major impacts the program had this year
- Ninety percent of the teachers who attended our Summer Ag Institute said they would be using agriculture as a theme to teach other academic subjects.
