ACE Purpose, Priorities, and Fund Availability

The purpose of this grants program is to strengthen
state programs by funding innovative ideas and proven
outreach strategies to increase agricultural literacy
among teachers and their students. ACE Projects should:
(1) address a state, regional, or national educational
need; (2) involve creative or nontraditional approach
toward addressing that need that can serve as a model
to others; (3) encourage and facilitate better relationships
in the education community. |
ACE Eligibility

ACE grants program is open only to Agriculture
in the Classroom State Contacts who are members of the
National Agriculture in the Classroom Consortium located
in the 50 States and the District of Columbia. In future
years, funds may be made available to AITC Programs
in the following insular areas: America Samoa, Guam,
Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Northern Marianas, Puerto
Rico, Republic of Palau, and U.S. Virgin Islands. |
