Major Program Accomplishments or Outputs

50 Participants

AITC 10 summer workshop was opened to all formal and informal educators. Public and private school teachers, school counselors, cooperative extension educators, and job corps educators all took advantage of this year's program.

AITC 10 summer workshop included an additional on-farm educational session and a County Fair to highlight Ag related educational resources available for teachers.

100 % of 2010 PA AITC summer workshop participants would recommend the course to a colleague.

Major Program Impacts or Outcomes

Of the 51 subjects taught by 2010 PA AITC summer workshop participants, Agriculture will now be taught in 49.

2010 PA AITC summer workshop participants previously taught 6814 students. These participants will reach now reach 7741 students with information learned at AITC.

2010 PA AITC summer workshop participants previously devoted 33 weeks to agricultural concepts (17 participants devoted 0 weeks). 2008 PA AITC summer workshop participants will now devote 78 weeks to information learned at AITC (9 participants will devote entire year, and 0 participants will not devote any weeks).

I have a masters degree in Business and a bachelor's in Education. I am new to AITC however I work with some great volunteer coordinator's and staff that have decades of experience.
