Biosketch

I began as the NHAITC statewide coordinator in December, 2010.

Education: BS Environmental Conservation, University of New Hampshire MS Environmental Studies/Environmental Education, Antioch University New England

Prior Experience: " Provided environmental education programs for NH students and teachers for over 20 years. " Experience with school and youth gardens and various interdisciplinary and hands-on learning in classroom and non-formal settings. " Workshop presenter at many statewide and regional education conferences. " Local food advocate working to connect farmers and consumers. " Homestead farmer raising chickens, meat rabbits, over 45 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables, and Christmas trees. " Board member on NH Environmental Educators, New England Environmental Education Alliance; member of NH Children in Nature Coalition, Capital Area Wellness Coalition, Northeast Organic Farming Association-NH Chapter, NH Farm Bureau, and NH Center for Non-profits. " Regular contributor of articles on agriculture and environmental awareness for local newspapers and statewide publications.
