Major Program Accomplishments
Beginning to see a transition in counties to targeting educators as opposed to conducting classroom presentation. In doing so, volunteers are beginning to understand the relevance of educational standards.

More than 290 teachers received funding through the Iowa Farm Bureau Teachers Supplement Program. A total of $79,000 was granted. Applications surpassed budget allocation.

82 counties set goals in the Ag Education program area.

More counties are beginning to focus on "influencing the influencers" instead of conducting classroom presentations.

Major Program Impacts
98% of the teachers who participated in the 2007 Teachers Academy have incorporated agriculture into their classroom.
