Classroom Resources
From Indiana Farms - a DVD that was distributed to schools in Indiana to showcase some of the commodities we are well known for and some they may not realize.

New handout "Outstanding in the Field" available on our website

Major Program Accomplishments
This year a new DVD was created and distributed free to schools and AITC volunteers. Money for this project was donated by members in District 2. From Indiana Farms" featured commodities produced in Indiana with facts to support each area. It was a chance for those that think we only grow corn in Indiana to see what else our producers have to offer.

More pre-service teachers than ever before attended our sessions to get ag in their classrooms. A county based teacher workshop was also held with great success, leading us to develop a series of them that will take place over the summer. A monthly newsletter was also developed to reach our volunteers and keep them updated on the latest happenings and ideas to take to the classroom. A new series of handouts is being developed – "Outstanding In The Field" will feature different topics, such as Indiana Facts, Pork, Pumpkins, and Christmas Trees.

Major Program Impacts
Reached 50 new pre-service teachers who are eager to incorporate ag in their classes.

Developed a series of teacher workshops that will be held throughout the state.

Incorporated better communication with volunteers with a monthly newsletter to showcase new ideas.
