Wool & Sheep Activity Book

Major Program Accomplishments
Distributed six issues of the Colorado Reader on the following topics: Specialty Crops, Renewable Energy, Ranching, Going With the Flow ~ Water, Summer of Gold ~ Mining, and Agriculture's Contribution to Colorado. Over 300,000 copies of these readers were distributed.

Distributed over 4,000 Understanding Water Activity Books and 300 Wool and Sheep Activity Books.

Presented information about agriculture to 500 reading teachers at the Colorado Reading Convention. Forty-two teachers attended the Food Fiber and More AgriCULTURE Summer Institute.

Major impacts the program had this year
Ninety percent of the teachers who attended our Summer Ag Institute said they will be using agriculture as a theme to teacher other academic subjects.
