Major Program Accomplishments
Updated several popular AITC curricula and materials to reflect changes in agriculture and have a more modern look.

Started an Ag Literacy program that features a recommended book that volunteers provided to schools and libraries.

Worked with the Arkansas FFA and Arkansas State Fair to create the Ag in Action Learning Center at the 2007 Arkansas State Fair.

Major impacts the program had this year
Participation in the Garden Grant Program increased by 15% and funding for the program increased by 30%.

The new Ag Literacy book program saw 451 copies of the recommended book distributed by volunteers to classrooms, school libraries, and public libraries.

The number of counties and venues using the Ag Simulator increased by 25%.

Trained 4 new committees of volunteer leaders in AITC programs and materials use.

35,000 4th grade students received agriculture instruction through the distribution of the Arkansas Rice Awesome publication.
