Project Food, Land & People
Food, Land & People is a national interdisciplinary educational curriculum emphasizing agriculture, the environment, and people of the world. This curriculum consists of 55 Hands-on lesson plans for grades K-12. In order to receive this curriculum, you must participate in a 6-hour training. Over 800 educators have been trained since 1999. Please contact the office for information on future trainings in your area.

We offer a resource center to support educators searching for agricultural related materials, lesson plans, and a resource directory. You may request materials through the Maine Library URUS System or call the Bangor Public Library Children’s Center. Books can be mailed to your school free of charge.
