Biodegradable Corn Starch Plastic

Biodegradable packing peanuts are used everyday. They dissolve in water, unlike their plastic counterparts. Students will be able to experiment with these products in this quick learning center activity. The lesson plan contains information for obtaining the peanuts from 'Eco-foam'. The website also contains a link for making corn starch plastic in the classroom. A simple and effective activity.
