Not sure how to use the Resource Directory?
The following information will get you started! If you are still having trouble, please contact us with any questions you might have.

How do I order materials or supplies form this website?
This teacher resource directory is designed to highlight some of the best educational resources available for incorporating agriculture into your classroom. Each resource must be ordered or requested from the original supplier. The supplier information will be listed with each individual resource in the directory. The national resource directory does not house, sell, or ship any of the resources/materials listed. All of the books, offered as resources, are either available from a specific supplier (i.e., Capstone Press) or can be ordered directly from Amazon.com by using the title or ISBN number.

Know the title of the resource?
If you are looking for a particular resource and know the title, use the Keyword Search.  Make sure you select "Look through: Titles only" and enter one or more words in the title box. Check your spelling and try just one distinguishing word found in the title.

Looking for something about a particular subject?
Use the Keyword Search and select "Look through: Titles and descriptions." You will get a list of all resources which have that word in the title or description. Increase the search by entering more words and selecting Search for "Any of these words" from the drop-down menu. Narrow your search by selecting "Exact match".

Want to see everything that is currently in the directory?
Use the Keyword Search and leave the box blank. Click "Search."

Looking for just posters, videos or another specific media type?
Use the Advanced Search and check the media type you are looking for.

Want to see what resources are available in your state?
If you're not searching for something specific, try clicking on the "State Resources" link. Click here to view a complete list of all AITC State Programs.

Looking for something new for a very specific use?
Use the Advanced Search and check as many boxes in each field as you want. (i.e. grade level, subject, agricultural content, geographic area, media type). You will get a list of the resources that match at least one of your selected criteria in every category.

New to searching and want to try something easy?
Try the Basic Search. Select an option in one or more of the following categories:
• grade level • academic subject • agricultural content
and click the "Search" button. You will get a list of all the resources which meet the options you selected. The more options you choose, the narrower your search.

What about punctuation?
If you are using more than one word in the Keyword Search, a comma may be used, or you may simply leave a blank between words, (e.g. "cow hay" or "cow, hay").
