Innovative Programming
Helped/Taught at the Whatcom Farm Circle, where we brought in 900 3rd graders from all over Whatcom County and taught them 7 different learning stations about agriculture for this 3-day event.

Program Leader Biosketch
Alisha Klein is the Public Relations/Promotions Administrator for Washington Ag in the Classroom. She was born and raised on a wheat and cattle ranch in Eastern Washington. She attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA and John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Speech Communications. Alisha and her husband returned to operate the family farm and raise their three children, who are 5th generation on the farm. She has previously worked as the GED Testing Administrator for a Community College. This is her first year with Washington Ag in the Classroom and she is excited to begin this adventure that combines her passion of agriculture and education.
